Shippagan Downtown Improvement Corporation

For over 30 years, the Shippagan Downtown Improvement Corporation has been committed to revitalizing and beautifying the heart of the municipality, from 1st to 16th Street. Its mission is to create a welcoming, prosperous, and vibrant downtown that serves the entire community. With over a million dollars invested, it constantly transforms and enhances the commercial artery, making it an attractive place to live and do business.

Shippagan Chamber of Commerce

Founded on June 29, 1945, the Shippagan Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization with the mission to:

« Contribute to the community, economic, and social development of the locality to promote its commercial, industrial, agricultural, and civic well-being »

We are committed to the prosperity of the business community and the growth of businesses in the region, and the Chamber believes in the unity of business people.

It also encourages the public to shop locally to stimulate our region's economy.

Industrial Park

The Greater Shippagan Industrial and Commercial Commission Inc. is a non-profit organization legally incorporated under the New Brunswick Companies Act since 1998. The Commission serves as a forum for individuals and organizations in the Shippagan region and surrounding areas who are members.

The Commission's purpose is to assess and promote industrial development needs and opportunities throughout the designated territory, and to provide physical space for the installation of support infrastructure within an area exclusively reserved for this purpose.

The Commission primarily aims to launch new business ventures to consolidate and develop existing economic gains, while diversifying economic activities in the Shippagan region and surrounding areas to provide employment for local citizens.
