Each year, residents who use water and sewer services receive an invoice for these services. This process aims to ensure the proper management of fees related to municipal services.

To support certain residents, we offer a discount program for water and sewer services for eligible individuals. Consult the conditions below to find out if you qualify and the steps to follow.

65+ Discount

Individuals aged 65 and over who own or co-own a private residence may, with identification, be eligible for a $30 discount for water service and a $30 discount for sewer service.

No refunds for previous years. 

To be eligible for this discount, you must pay your current year's invoice before June 30 of that same year.

Bank Payment

Payments can be made at the following financial institutions:

• If you have moved in the last year, remember to change your account number before making your payment.

• To add the Municipality of Shippagan as a payee, please use the word 'Shippagan' in the search bar in the 'Payment' section of your financial institution.

• Ensure that the correct information is entered when making your payment, especially regarding the account number (FXXXX).
